A tripartite project partnership agreement is signed between Action for the Needy in Ethiopia (ANE), Synorgos, (a global organization working in Ethiopia since 2011) and East Borena Zone Administration Office in the presence of Mr. Salihu Sultan, ANE Managing Director, Mr. Abera Tola,Head of Synorgos Ethiopia Country Office and Mr. Abdurazak Hussein, East Borena Zone Administrator on 23 December 2023.
The project partnership aims at working together to enhance the lives of smallholder farmers and their families by organizing and engaging young people on agriculture and food production in Bulbul Kebele, Gume Eldilo Woreda of the East Borena Zone, Oromia Regional State.
With its wide experience in construction works ANE took the responsibility to the construction of the whole project infrastructure. Synorgos will provide the fund which amounts to ETB 50 million and the Zonal Administration agreed to provide the land on which the project will be implemented.
This project partnership reflects ANE’s desire to collaborate with organizations that share its vision of working together to improve the lives of vulnerable communities including young people, by encouraging involvement in production and income generation, which in turn leads to better nutrition, health, education, and overall quality of life.
Young people of the Kebele expressed their great expectations and pleasure at the commencement of the project.
